Our Beginnings
Founded in 2023, a small group of concerned community leaders established the Equality Indiana Educational Fund because LGBTQIA+ Hoosiers and allies expressed deep concerns about the negative impact on Hoosier families of recently passed laws restricting Hoosier’s freedoms combined with the lack of equal protections in our civil rights laws leading to the erasure of the spirit of Hoosier Hospitality.
Equality Indiana Educational Fund, Inc is a nonpartisan non-profit educational charitable corporation operating as a 501(c)(3) organization as determined by the Internal Revenue Service.
Contributions to the Equality Indiana Educational Fund can be tax deductible and its tax ID number is 93-2466320.
