Serving in a governance or advisory role with Equality Indiana is an opportunity to make a meaningful, statewide impact while working alongside passionate advocates, community leaders, and changemakers.

We are currently seeking individuals to serve in the following roles:
- Board of Directors Members
- Treasurer (Board Officer & Executive Committee Member)
- Advisory Board Members
- Working Group Volunteers
Each role plays a critical part in advancing our mission through strategic leadership, community engagement, and organizational growth.

What We’re Looking For
We welcome individuals from across Indiana who bring:
- A commitment to equality, inclusion, and justice
- Professional skills or lived experiences that strengthen our work
- A willingness to engage, learn, and lead
- A passion for making a difference in their community
We are especially interested in candidates with experience in or an interest in learning skills about:
- Finance and accounting (Treasurer role)
- Law, public policy, or advocacy
- Fundraising and development
- Communications and community outreach
- Coalition building and strategic partnerships
- Volunteer management and voter engagement
